About UTR:

The UTR Rating is a global player rating system. All players regardless of age, gender, geography or skill level, are rated on the same scale from 1.00 and 16.50 based on daily match results. Every tennis player can have a UTR Rating to know their level and find fun, competitive play wherever they are. Some players also have a Verified UTR Rating. 

  • Verified UTR Rating reflects your results from only verified events - all IFT UTR events will be verified

  • Overall UTR Rating reflects your results from a broader range of event types, including self-posted scores, casual play, verified matches, and practice matches. Read more here.

    1. Make a UTR account for your player if they don’t have one already. You can make a free subscription, or if you plan on playing more matches at locations outside of IFT you can create a Power Subscription to get $12 off on events.

    2. Visit our club page ‘Infinite Future @ Edgewater’ or use the search bar at the top of the page. You can request to become a member of our club if you aren’t already. 

    3. Choose the event page of the date that you can attend and click on ‘Register’.

      The registration deadlines are on Thursdays at 8PM on the day before the event. Once you register you are committed to the date and no changes can be made.
      A credit card payment of the event cost ($45 for Power subscribers, $57 for free subscribers) is required to register.
      *If you are registered in IFT Academy Pre-Tournament and above for the session, you have already paid your UTR event fees for the included number of event dates. We will fully refund you for those events via UTR.

    • Player matchups and times will be determined by 8AM on Friday prior to the event date. You can sign into your account and view the event page to see your matchup and scheduled time (5PM or 6:15PM)

    • Match format will be 1 matchup of 2 sets up to 6 games (12-point tiebreak at 6-6) with a match tiebreak at 1-set all with no-Ad scoring. (YELLOW BALL)

    • You are committed to play after registering for the event. NO REFUNDS for cancellations.

    • Players will play 1 MATCH in ONE OF TWO TIME SLOTS. Saturday January 21, 2022 @ 5PM OR NOT BEFORE 6:15 PM

    • Check-in by 4:50 PM for 5PM round

    • Check-in by 6:15PM for Not Before 6:15 PM round

    • FORMAT 2 sets up to 6 games(12-point tiebreak at 6-6) with match tiebreak at 1-set all. (No-Ad scoring) (YELLOW BALL)

    • Roving officials present

    • UTR is open for all junior players looking for competition. Typically UTR 1 through 9 and ages 8 through 18 years old.
